it was too progressive to be a loop, though.
Maybe if you made better transition in the end of the song, like a frequency fade out out.

Lol Yea i know. When i was about to put it up i was like this is progressive but i didn't know what to add and it was way to short for a song so i just called it a loop. I liked ur idea about the fade though. Thx for the review man!

you seem to have a very distinct style - one I like :).

your songs are all great, this one sticks to the genre, has a consistent theme, incredible use of bass, great instrument selection (as always), etc.

Great bass, incredibly smooth transitions and sound selection is fantastic.

9/10 because i didn't dig the kick, it was too 'sticky' for my liking.

I'm pretty sure all the synth parts is Native Instrument's Absynth. BEAUTIFUL synth. It does everything lol.
That's weird that you didn't like the kick. Personally I hate the way I eq'd the snare/clap.

please note: this is the first time i am writing such a low-score review.

there is clearly a lack of effort shown in this submission.
i am absolutely shocked at how this got on the weekly top 5.
the slayer plain sucks, it's the stock preset.

did you add ANY effects to this song? it sure doesn't sound like it.

MANY if not all of the sounds i can recall as being presets and stock instruments and percussions. don't get me wrong - i've seen amazing entries with stock sounds.

there are no delays or reeverb on the instruments, they all sound "stock".

there was no progression in the melody itself. something new came in which wasn't terribly interesting and then went away leaving the listener with the same old loops.

don't use the trance preset when chopping, really it's just not that good for a main synth. if it was for a soft, quiet background sound then it works fine.

you get 2 points for the instrument that comes in at 0:29 unveiling into something more enjoyable later on, around :45 and :50. yet again, it just went away leaving me with the loops i already heard.

you also get 2 points for the potential, as you have some of it.

Thx for the review. However if you listen to our older stuff and consider the fact that this song actually took about 10 hours to make ( I'm not good with fl at all lol) you'll find that I did alot of effort.

despite everyone's opinion (judging by your score), this is actually a decent entry!

many of the loops I don't submit are like this

also if you made this in fruity loops, and I can guess that you did, then you should render it as a loop, it would transition better.

[Another horror theme]

obvious faults

the beginning drumloop is very poorly sliced.

the sound selection wasn't great - be that drums, bass, synth, and anything above.

didn't really get that horror theme, either.

the sound transitions were all over the place, with NO transitions, just rapid stops and entries of new sounds.

I'll have to judge this one honestly and not generously, 3 and 6.

well the FL studio vocals were quite unsuitable

and because of that you get an 8 and a 4, other than that, this sounds good, and i hope you can tell me which knob(s) you tweaked on that first short synth that decays into a less treble sound, it sounds like some benassi, or better. Pm if time permits

5/5, 9/10 for the first sound being panned around when the main theme/ beat kicks in. In my head i thought it would be great if it just fluctuated a bit from left to right after the beat kicked in, and not all over the place.

great work nonetheless.
